Community Wellbeing Fund EOIs now open!

Amidst an ever-growing demand for our offerings, we are proud to announce our Community Wellbeing Fund: free and subsidised trauma-sensitive wellbeing programs for under-resourced organisations and community groups. With launchpad donations from Here to Be and Agape Meditation Charity, this fund will enable Collective Being to expand our service even more to those who need it the most.

The Opportunity:

Our highly skilled team will be delivering a total of 12 free and subsidised programs. Facilitated for a duration of 8 weeks, our wellbeing programs have been developed over the past seven years in consultation with community service organisations and participants and are designed to support mental and physical health through trauma-sensitive movement, mindfulness, and somatics.

Adapted to meet the needs of children, young people and adults, our programs support participants to:

  • Learn somatic tools and strategies to support their mental and physical health

  • Learn strategies for stress relief and nervous system regulation

  • Practice choice-making and autonomy in a group setting

  • Increase awareness of feelings or sensations in their body

  • Socially engage with others in a non-judgemental, welcoming space

With seven years of impactful service delivery, we are experienced in:

  • Adapting our programs for diverse cohorts and ages

  • Collaborating with interpreters

  • Working within clinical and complex medical settings, alongside a wide range of community-based settings

  • Delivering our programs in varied environments, including in multi-use spaces where there may be disruptions

  • Facilitating movements and practices accessible to the wide-ranging and diverse mobility needs of group participants

  • Co-designing and co-facilitating with program partner staff to meet their organisational objectives.
