Community Care: Resting Together

Join Collective Being in a series of guided somatics, mindfulness and movement practices to nurture and rest together in community. Learn simple and effective practices to resource yourself during these busy months. All practices facilitated by Collective Being are trauma-informed, accessible and mental health aware.

  • These 60-minute sessions will be held online with tiered pricing options ($0-$20). Registration is required. We offer tiered pricing based on each participants financial position.

    Tiered Pricing Guideline

    Under-waged: $0 - $5
    Waged: $10 - $15
    Comfortably Waged: $20

Alternatively, you may pay it forward, donate here.

  • The sessions will be facilitated online via Zoom. We will email you the link and password to the meeting with your registration confirmation.

When you arrive at the session, there will be a microphone and camera button in the bottom left corner of your screen. You are welcome to click on these to either mute/unmute yourself or to turn your camera on or off, it’s entirely up to you. We will however need to mute the microphones while the sessions are in process to ensure the best sound quality.

  • Wear something comfortable for you and something that is not going to restrict your movement too much. The movements we make in the sessions are gentle and wearing comfortable clothing might support your mobility.

  • You might like to use a yoga mat if you have one but this is not essential. If you have any cushions or blankets you may wish to use these within the sessions if you feel like it. Some people prefer to practice from a chair, so that option is also available.

You may also like to have some water and any other items that resource you nearby.

  • There will be two facilitators assigned to each session. The facilitator who is not guiding the practice will assist with any technological challenges and is available for check-ins through the session.

If you have any other questions, please contact our Programs Coordinator Alexia at alexia@collectivebeing.org
