DROP-IN: Stretch & Release with NECCHI

Stretch and Release is an adaptive, mental health aware yoga program, delivered in partnership with NECCHI and facilitated by our team member Anu (they/them). 

Stretch and Release aims to cultivate a safer relationship with one’s body in an appropriate way for people living with mobility limitations, chronic illness, disabilities as well as anxiety, depression, chronic stress and other mental health conditions.

This program encourages and guides personal adaptations to yoga, movement and mindfulness practices, and provides opportunities for reflection, sharing and social connection. Weekly sessions integrate gentle yoga stretches, mindfulness practices, breathing exercises and guided relaxation.

Stretch and Release is inclusive of all bodies, genders and ages, and adaptable to meet individual needs, including mobility and pain management. All welcome - no flexibility or prior experience is required!

Please note: Classes will be held over Zoom on Wednesday nights from 6.30-7.30pm.
