Nurturing Resilience with Jo

'Resilience' is a term that often conjures imagery of 'overcoming', 'bouncing back' and steely resolve. But what if resilience is actually a much softer, more fluid and responsive state of being?

In collaboration with City of Melbourne Libraries, join jo (she/her) for this free community workshop focusing on cultivating resiliency.

This 90 minute immersive workshop introduces somatic skills for nurturing a specific kind of resilience, especially during times of stress and burnout. Together, we will be discussing 'resilience' as a concept, body-focused skills for fostering resilience, and community-focused strategies for building resilience into our work and lives.

When: Wednesday September 21st, 6.30pm - 8.00pm

Where: Kathleen Syme Library, Carlton

Registration: Booking for this free event is essential. Registration opens Sept 14th via the City of Melbourne Library here
